All of the troopers of the Dewback Ridge Garrison were very excited to see the new Yoda balloon. It is okay if it's a good-side balloon. As our CO said, "Rebels, Imperials - it's all about Star Wars".

I am glad to see you returned home safely, Benoit! It was an excellent Balloon Fiesta, but short. I had a great time being on chase crew Friday morning and meeting Tim, Irwin, and Dave. I look forward to crewing all week next year and earning a crew t-shirt!

Hello, Fanwars!

The balloon arrived in Albuquerque today, it appears that a couple of uprights and covers are missing and a couple of straps are missing. I don't know if Benoit inflated, but we are hoping he can get uprights to fly tomorrow!

I was not able to go to the Balloon Fiesta this morning, but could see the balloons from my house. The event scheduled for tonight is cancelled, but we hope the weather will be better tomorrow.

Yes, Benoit and Michel arrived in Albuquerque two hours ago. My wife, Julie, and my three children were very excited to greet Benoit and Michel at the airport. And yes, I wore my Fanwars Garrison proudly!
